The Pentagon has lifted the suspension of all eight National Guard Apache helicopter pilots who participated in the "Salute to the Shore" flyover along South Carolina's coast.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth promised to “fix” the suspension of eight South Carolina National Guard Apache helicopter pilots who were grounded after low-altitude flybys over crowded beaches during a July 4 airshow.It’s the second time this year Hegseth has publicly intervened in an Army review of pilots’ conduct. In March, he lifted the suspension of Army pilots who hovered two helicopters near Kid Rock’s Tennessee home during a training exercise while the singer clapped and saluted.
